Investment & Partnership Opportunities

Where we differ from everyone else is that we charge zero commission on purchases and let investors buy in at the actual cost price. We invest ourselves in every horse therefore investors are getting our expertise and experience for zero cost. We also have a zero management cost. Our upside is your upside i.e. the investment has to make money for it to be profitable for us.

Both James and Lisa have excellent eyes for value in the sales ring and they have a strong record for purchasing inexpensive stock that go on to excel on the track and do very well as broodmares.

Some of our recent purchases are listed below.

A stunning looking Invincible Spirit mare in foal to sire sensation Night Of Thunder. Night Of Thunder has 6 black type winners and 9 black type horses so far in 2019. He currently stands at 25,000-euro and his fee is set for a dramatic increase for 2021.

A very pretty mare by top broodmare sire Dalakhani. She is already the dam of a Gr.3 winner. Zanoubiya has a filly foal by Awtaad and is in foal to Calyx a very fast son of Kingman.

We are always in the market for prospective purchases

We constantly have new opportunities to invest and if you are interested in being contacted about possible future opportunities, please contact us as per below. We look forward to speaking with you.

Small additional costs on top of the purchase cost would typically include:

1). Keep fees for your mare which would be billed every two months. A 10% share in a mare typically costs 183-euro every two months.
2). Vet fees : It would be unlucky for the fees to be more than 1,000-euro per mare annually. Therefore a 10% share would be 100-euro. This is invoiced directly from the vets.
3). Foal registration fees with Weatherbys Ireland. Depending upon the sire of the foal your 10% should cost no more than 50-euro.
4). Stud fee – payable on an annual basis directly to the stallion farm where the stallion is based.
5). Sales entry fees vary depending on the sale however these are always deductible from the gross sales proceeds.

“I got involved with James and Lisa in 2017 beginning with one mare, in that short time I’ve had tremendous success with selling stock which is all down to both James and Lisa’s excellent judgement of broodmares and young stock and most importantly finding value. Also their extensive knowledge of pedigrees is second to none. I’m always welcomed to a stud visit to see my stock and I always feel at ease knowing that my horses are in a top class nursery, with state of the art facilities and with the best of care. They have both become great friends of mine and James is also a great sounding board on any bloodstock advice that I personally need. I would highly recommend their services. ”
